About

After receiving my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Missouri in 2013, I joined the Air Force Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics.  My research interests include frame theory and signal processing, but more recently, I’ve been thinking about theoretical machine learning.

This interest in machine learning is the genesis for this blog.  To clarify, this is not a research blog.  Rather the blog serves as an excuse to scrape the web and analyze interesting data sets (hence the “scripts”) and make some pretty charts (the “doodles”).

This is my “unofficial” blog. The views expressed in this blog are my own and do not reflect the official policy or position of the United States Air Force, Department of Defense, or the U.S. Government
